Conor McGregor seems to have been interested Nate Diaz vs. Jorge Masvidalnow financially.

Although the two fighters are longtime rivals, McGregor revealed on Saturday that he plans to bet $500,000 on Diaz to beat Masvidal. O boxing fight takes place Saturday at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

“I decided to bet $500,000 on Diaz to win tonight’s boxing match,” McGregor wrote on X before the boxing event. “Range, form, experience, just the hands being used, I can’t imagine Masvidal causing any problems for Nate in a boxing ring. They both play dumb a little in a fight, play with bollox, but I feel like Nate really does that on EASY here. $500,000 gives me back $1,625,000 in total.”

DraftKings currently lists Diaz as a +210 favorite, meaning McGregor will pocket $1,050,000 in winnings if he bets half a million.

McGregor and Diaz shared two legendary battles inside the UFC cage. The rumor about a possible third meeting between the two has persisted for almost eight years.

Since leaving the UFC, Diaz has said publicly that he plans to return to the promotion eventually. McGregor currently has two fights remaining on his current UFC contract as he recovers from a toe injury that delayed an expected fight against Michael Chandler.
