Jandiroba lost her promotional debut to former champion Carla Esparza. But the next time, she made up for it with a Mallory Martin submission. Then, in 2020, after pandemic delays, it was finally time for her to return to work.
Jandiroba faced women’s MMA pioneer Felice Herrig at UFC 252 in Las Vegas and landed an armbar in the first round to earn the first $50,000 post-fight bonus of her career, and at the time the biggest name on her resume.
Saturday, Jandiroba (20-3 MMA, 6-3 UFC) is back for his first UFC main fight. At UFC on ESPN 60 in Las Vegas, she faces former title challenger Amanda Lemos (14-3-1 MMA, 8-3 UFC) in a fight that is a virtual pick in the betting window.
