McGregor, 36, initially earmarked late August or early September for his rescheduled return.

But SunSport understands the UFC has all its pay-per-view headliners finalized – with the exception of the December show.

And McGregor admits he likes the idea of ​​headlining UFC 310, which is scheduled for December 14th.

The UFC’s first simultaneous two-weight world champion told SunSport: “That looks good to me.

McGregor hasn’t stepped into the Octagon since breaking his left leg in his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier three years ago.
