DANA WHITE has revealed that UFC commentator Joe Rogan is chasing him to make a super fight between Jon Jones and Alex Pereira.
MMA fans around the world are eager to see Pereira move up to heavyweight following his second loss to former 205-pound champion Jiri Prochazka at UFC 303 last month.
White initially dismissed the idea of giving ‘Poatan’ a chance to become the UFC’s first three-weight world champion.
But it looks like his good friend and veteran commentator Rogan is trying to twist the arm around the Brazilian who could take down Hall of Famer Jones.
“It’s a possibility,” White said during an appearance on The great podcast with Shaquille O’Neal. “[Joe] Rogan is pushing me now to try and make this fight.
“That’s it, guys, let me explain something to you. Jon Jones is on another level.
“Jon Jones is – I consider Jon Jones the greatest combat fighter of all time.
“When you talk about the [Muhammad] There and this and that.
“Let me tell you something, I have Ali’s picture hanging everywhere.
“I love Muhammad Ali. I love Mike Tyson. Jon Jones is the nastiest guy ever. history.”

Jones, 36, has publicly considered the prospect of facing Pereira in a unification fight with interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall.
Jones vs. Pereira would undoubtedly be a huge fight, but both men have a lot of work to do before that becomes a possibility.
Former pound-for-pound king Jones is set to defend his title against former long-time heavyweight king Stipe Miocic at Madison Square Garden in November.
The fight has not been officially announced, although SunSport understands it will take place on November 16th.
Pereira, meanwhile, is ready to make the third defense of his 205-pound belt – which ironically Jones has held for several years – against Magomed Ankalaev.
It is understood the fight could take place in Abu Dhabi on October 26.
