JAKE PAUL has the backing to offer Nate Diaz or Jorge Masvidal a massive $10 MILLION to face him in their MMA debut.

Paul is 9-1 as a boxer, but last year signed with the Professional Fighters League, where he will move to the cage.

Meanwhile, Masvidal has received permission from the UFC to pursue boxing before returning to the Octagon.

He steps into the ring for the first time on June 1st against Nate Diaz, 39, defeated in ten rounds of boxing by Paul last year.

Masvidal, 39, won the UFC 2019 fight after Diaz was removed by the ringside doctor with a nasty cut – but now they will have a boxing rematch.

The pair put aside their feud to mutually chant “f*** Jake Paul” alongside a raucous crowd at the Las Vegas press conference.

Paul responded to the complaints by shamelessly offering Masvidal and Diaz a deal worth $10m (£8m) to face him in the PFL cage.

And PFL CEO Peter Murray admitted the big offer is justified.

Murray told SunSport: “We know what this fight is going to command. It is one of the biggest events in MMA.

“Certainly, in terms of the draw in terms of the internet, that’s what it’s all about.

“He is training, he is getting stronger and he has a line of top MMA fighters who would like this chance and this opportunity.

“And with discussions with Jake we will determine who we consider to be the greatest opponent and event.”

Paul, 27, returns July 20 to Texas against boxing icon Mike Tyson, 57, in a controversial clash scrutinizing their 30-year age difference.

It appears his MMA debut has been delayed – but the American has a custom cage in his gym that he uses to prepare for the move.

Murray revealed: “He has the PFL SmartCage right at his compound in Puerto Rico.

“Obviously he’s super focused on boxing right now with the Mike Tyson fight coming up.

“But he’s committed to making his debut and we’re excited.”
