Sixers’ 2024-25 NBA Cup Schedule Released originally appeared in NBC Sports Philadelphia
The Sixers’ roster for the 2024-25 NBA Cup is fully defined.
The league announced this Tuesday the full schedule for the NBA Cupwhich was called the tournament of the season in its first year. The Sixers, who were drawn to East Group A with the Knicks, Magic, Nets and Hornets, they will play NBA Cup games on the following dates:

November 12: Sixers vs. Knicks, 7:30 p.m. ET

November 15: Sixers at Magic, 7 p.m. ET

November 22: Sixers vs. Nets, 7 p.m. ET

December 3: Sixers at Hornets, 7 p.m. ET
On paper, New York and Orlando are clearly the Sixers’ most challenging opponents in East Group A. The Knicks, who traded for Mikal Bridges this summer, eliminated the Sixers from the playoffs last year. With a young core that includes Paolo Banchero, Franz Wagner and Jalen Suggs, the Magic won 47 games last season. The Sixers won the regular season series against Orlando.
If the Sixers win their group or earn the Eastern Conference’s only Wild Card spot, they will reach the knockout stage. The quarter-final games will take place on December 10th and 11th.
The semifinals (Dec. 14) and championship game (Dec. 17) will be at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
The full NBA schedule is expected to be released soon. The Sixers will start this season hosting the Bucks on October 23 and visit the Celtics at ChristmasThe Athletic’s Shams Charania reported.
TNT’s Chris Haynes reported that Paulo Jorge will return to Los Angeles to face the Clippers on November 6th.
