It’s possible to love the Lakers, but I wish LeBron would accept his tired performance in another place? It’s so tiring to see LeBron blame someone else for the team’s failure. Being dissatisfied with all the coaches the Lakers have had. Running around the court berating the referees throughout the game for calling a foul on him or for not calling a supposed foul on him. And using leverage to get hand-picked teammates (Russell Westbrook) who do well on other teams but not his.
It is becoming a difficult process to pay for their talents so that the Lakers continue to be successful, especially when they are not.

I understand why Darvin Ham and the coaches were fired by Lakers. What I can’t understand is why general manager Rob Pelinka, who kept Talen Horton-Tucker and let Alex Caruso walk, and who traded Kyle Kuzma and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope for Russell Westbrook, hasn’t done so.

Darvin Ham was never the problem. It was never his team; it was LeBron James’ team. The problem is the owners. Just like the Angels, the Lakers are hamstrung (pun intended) by ownership that has no idea what they’re doing. Arte Moreno and Jeanie Buss need to sell their teams to owners who have a proven understanding of what it takes now to win championships. In the case of the Lakers, this no longer has to do with the past genius of Jerry Buss, but with the current incompetence of his descendants.

My dad introduced me to the Lakers when I was a kid in 1968-69, and I’ve been watching as many games as possible since then. Fast forward: It’s true that LeBron is an incredible basketball player and does special things in the community, without a doubt. However, over the years, watching his antics and immature displays when he doesn’t agree to a call is disgusting, embarrassing, and a bad act for a leader. If the Lakers give this guy the max contract extension then I won’t mind watching every game and if the Lakers sign his son I’ll be gone until they’re gone.
Sorry, Dr. Buss, Kobe, Chick and all the true Lakers greats.

Solution: The Clippers should sign LeBron and Ty Lue to long-term contracts.

The two Stanley Cup championship teams disappeared in the rearview mirror. Kings fans now they suffered went through a long reconstruction and what we received is a team that, if it manages to reach the playoffs, will not survive the first phase. Being a great player does not mean being an effective manager or a judge of talent. Luc Robitaille and Rob Blake were great players, but after a long time, they didn’t put together a competitive team. It’s time to change. Does anyone know what Dean Lombardi is doing these days?

The Kings’ failure in the playoffs was certainly strike three for GM Rob Blake and president Luc Robataille. Their trade for Pierre-Luc DuBois was a disaster, as he looked more like the Invisible Man than the dynamic rising star they expected him to be.
