We have to, uh, put a bow on the Indiana Pacers and I feel like they get a little bit of savings, right?

Because we look at them and say, oh, you beat the Knicks, you beat the Bucks.

But I think JA with the low pain play style in the playoffs and you’re getting Ben Mather and back like I think they could be a team to consider next year, at least in the regular season.

Do you know what I mean?

At least in the regular season, this could be a springboard for them to position themselves as a younger team.

Just like Pascal, I can be a free agent.

I would assume he would return, but Matthew will be 22 years old.

Tyree Halliburton will have Olympic experience assuming he’s there.

Like, you look at this Pacers team and say, hey, maybe with a few tweaks here or there, maybe you can get another shot creator or another shooter in free agency with the cap space they got, that they could be something next. season in the east.

Yes.

And their experience.

I mean, if it is, then I’m leaving this series.

Yes, we got swept, but we didn’t have Alur in the last few games and you know, we went toe-to-toe with them, maybe we don’t turn the ball over so much in crunch time and, you know, we could go to the finals.

Um, and I, I’m confident that, hey, I feel like we can play against a healthy Knicks team, maybe the fluke of this series isn’t the injury, but rather his otherworldly shooting performance in the seventh game, the best field goal percentage. in the playoffs ever.

This was timely on their behalf.

But again, they have the experience now that I think they have a better sense of what’s needed, you know, maybe Rick Carlisle needed to be rejuvenated as well.

You know, the statistic was he hadn’t won a playoff series since 2011 with the Mavericks when they won a championship.

And now he won two with this group and won two with this style, right?

He completely changed his coaching style and adapted to his team and the modern NBA.

And, you know, maybe he has to learn this, like this is new to him too, like experience.

And since he’s been around, this was something new for him.

And so all of this, you know, we have to allow coaches to, um, improve
