Knicks noob Kevin McCullars Jr. will miss the Summer League in Las Vegas this year.

According to SNY’s Ian BegleyThe Knicks’ No. 56 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft will remain in New York to continue his rehabilitation from an injury he suffered while at Kansas.

McCullar Jr. missed six of the final 12 regular-season games, including the Big 12 Tournament, while nursing a bone bruise in his knee. He also missed the Jayhawk’s entire NCAA Tournament run.

The 23-year-old was initially in Knicks 2024 Summer League Roster alongside other newcomers Pacome Dadiet, Tyler Kolek It is Ariel Hukporti.

New York will begin Summer League play on Saturday, July 13th against the Charlotte Hornets and conclude on July 19th.

McCullar Jr. played in 26 games for the Jayhawks during the 2023-24 season and averaged career-highs in points (18.3) and assists (4.1) while also grabbing 6.0 rebounds per game. He shot 45 percent from the field.
