O Knicks‘The Summer League team lost its second consecutive game, 92-85, to the Networks on Tuesday night in Las Vegas.

New York started quickly and took advantage of Brooklyn’s lazy defense to take a 28-11 lead. The Nets were 4 of 16, while New York was 12 of 16 in the first quarter.
Duane Washington Jr. scored 10 points in the first quarter to lead the team’s early barrage, but it wouldn’t last long.
In the second, the Nets fought back and reached halftime trailing just 43 to 39, after losing up to 21 points. Brooklyn went on a 14-0 run late in the second quarter, led by Jalen Wilson who scored 11 on the board.
Wilson was the star of Tuesday’s game. The second-year player finished with a game-high 27 points on 8-of-16 shooting (5-of-10 from three), three rebounds and one assist. He also had a game-high plus-19 on the court.
The third quarter was very competitive with the 2024 first round pick Pacome Dadiet hitting back-to-back threes to prevent the Nets from taking the lead.
Dadiet finished with 11 points on 4-of-13 shooting (2-of-7 from three) with eight rebounds and two assists.
When Brooklyn made its fourth-quarter push, Wilson was at the forefront, scoring 15 points in the final frame, including a dagger three as the Nets were up just three to hold off the Knicks for their second Summer League win.
Tyler Kolek, the Knicks’ second-round pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, had a rough game, scoring just six points on 3-of-8 shooting (0-of-5 from three), with two rebounds and seven assists. He had a game-low minus-18 in 29 minutes on the court.
Jacob Toppin scored five points in his 19 minutes of play. He went to the locker room with a trainer in the third quarter and apparently did not return to the bench.
finished with a team-high 21 points on 7-of-12 shooting (2-of-6 from three) with three rebounds and one assist. Dmytro Skapintsev He scored 19 points and grabbed nine rebounds in 17 minutes of play. He, Washington Jr. and Dadiet were the only Knicks to score in double figures.
To Brooklyn, Wilson, Noah Clowney (12), Keon Johnson (10), Jacob Gilyard (13) and Tyrese Martin (16) all scored in double digits.
The Knicks will continue their Summer League games on Wednesday at 3:30 pm against the Sacramento Kings.
