The Raiders hosted wide receiver Jalen Guyton for a visit late last month and the two sides reached an agreement on a contract.
Guyton’s signing was announced by the Raiders on Monday. They have not announced any terms of the deal.
Guyton went undrafted in 2019 and ended up with the Chargers after spending a brief stint with the Cowboys. He was a regular offensive player in 2020 and 2021, but tore his anterior cruciate ligament in early 2022 and returned to play eight games last season.
Throughout his tenure with the Chargers, which coincided with Raiders general manager Tom Telesco’s time in the same role with the team, Guyton caught 71 passes for 1,112 yards and seven touchdowns.
