There is another McCaffrey in the NFL.

Wide receiver Luke McCaffrey signed his rookie contract with the Commanders. McCaffrey, who is the son of former NFL player Ed McCaffrey and brother of 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey, was drafted in the third round last month.

McCaffrey had 71 receptions for 992 yards and 13 touchdowns while playing at Rice last season.

The Commanders also announced that they drafted linebacker Jordan Magee in the fifth round, safety Dominique Hampton in the fifth round and defensive end Javontae Jean-Baptiste in the seventh round. They have five more unsigned draft picks, including second overall pick Jayden Daniels.
