Fans wondering how often Bill Belichick will appear on ESPN’s “ManningCast” don’t have to guess or wait for each week’s guest lineup. The six-time Super Bowl winner will be in each episode of the alternate broadcast of “Monday Night Football” during the upcoming season, according to Peyton Manning.
Manning appeared on ESPN’s “The Pat McAfee Show” on Friday and revealed that Belichick will appear on every “Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli” and will likely join the show sooner, likely in the first quarter. So viewers won’t have to wait long to see the former New England Patriots coach share his insights with Peyton and Eli Manning.
“That’s the idea, that Bill will be a standing guest on all the ‘ManningCast’ shows at the beginning of the game, probably in the first quarter,” Manning explained, “to take people behind the ropes about what this defense has to do with to offer. do or what the quarterback challenges are.”
“It was an easy pitch for Bill. I said, ‘Bill, we want you to come. Look, we’d love to go behind the ropes on the defensive end to see what the Eagles are going to have to do to stop Patrick Mahomes, right?'” Manning added. “’And if you run out of things to say, just make fun of Eli, okay? As was the case with the previous three seasons of “ManningCast,” produced by Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions, the alternative broadcast will not air every week of the NFL campaign. The show is scheduled for 10 games during the season and likely a wild card playoff game.
