The Falcons are expected to add some veteran defensive players who tried out for the team in their rookie minicamp.
Agent David Canter said, via ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, that forward Bradlee Anae and winger Dane Cruikshank will join the NFC South club. There is no word on any corresponding moves.
Anae has been with the Jets the past two seasons but hasn’t seen any regular season action as he spent 2022 on the practice squad and went on injured reserve last spring. He was a fifth-round pick of the Cowboys in 2020 and had two tackles in 11 games with the team.
Cruikshank played two games with the Titans last season and 44 games with the team over the previous four seasons. He spent the 2022 season with the Bears.
