When it comes to the 2024 timeline release, what was previously reported is now official.
The NFL confirmed Monday morning that the full schedule will be announced Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET.
Ben Fischer from Sports Business Journal informed the date and time of release of the schedule last week.
The league kicked off the week by announcing that the Super Bowl LVIII champion Chiefs will host the Ravens to start the season on Thursday, September 5th.
The Eagles will face the Packers in Brazil on Friday, September 6th for the first two games of the season.
The 2024 calendar is being released a little later than expected, which may have to do with the league’s decision to play two matches at Christmas this year. With Christmas falling on a Wednesday, the NFL had to pick the matchups, sell the rights and schedule the four teams playing those games to play the previous Saturday.
Speculation and conjecture about the timeline will officially end in just a few days.
