On today’s episode of Zero Blitz, Jason Fitz and Charles McDonald react to Cowboys QB Dak Prescott’s latest comments regarding his contract negotiations with the team and Bengals QB Joe Burrow on a potential 18-game schedule.

Fitz and McDonald are split on whether Prescott will remain with the Cowboys beyond the 2024 season. The two also share their predictions for CeeDee Lamb and Micah Parsons and whether they will remain in Dallas long-term.

The two dissect Burrow’s recent proposal for an 18-game schedule with two byes, one of which will be universal at the end of the season. While both agree that an 18-game schedule seems inevitable, there are still details to be ironed out in terms of utilizing a second week off.

After the break, McDonald reveals the three biggest questions he has after the OTAs and what he’ll be watching out for in a few weeks when training camps begin:

(2:20) – Dak’s latest comments on the contract: Reason for optimism for Cowboys fans?

(13:30) – Dissecting Joe Burrow’s 18-game proposal

(23:40) – Will Burrow and Bengals sleep on 2024?

(28:55) – Is it better to be very bad or bad in the playoffs?

(31:45) – CMAC OTA Questions: Can the Bears dethrone the Lions in the North?

(38:00) – CMAC OTA Questions: Will the Raiders really regret not drafting a QB?

(46:20) – CMAC OTA Questions: Are the Titans ‘all-in’ on Will Levis?
