I really don’t know what we should expect from Jordan love because everyone is telling me the Packers will have their quarterback for the next 20 years.
They have there, Aaron Rodgers, based on half a season, I just can’t do that.
So I wonder if it meets the norm if it’s somewhere in the middle.
Is this enough for the Packers and will fans be happy?
Yeah, and I, I’m kind of with you and it’s not like we haven’t seen a quarterback on the rise for half a season and then we fall apart like this, I’ll give you a name and people are I’ll throw my head back, but back to Sophomore Marcus Mariota, really like, look at him for about half the season, maybe a little longer.
He was elite.
II, I swear this actually happened in the NFL Marcus Mariotta would look like a future star and we all know what Marcus Mariota’s career became.
Now, all seems well with Jordan’s love.
Like there was nothing wrong with what he did in the second half and obviously played really well against the Cowboys, played really well for them.
To beat the 49ers, the 49er got him at the end.
So I can’t sit here and say that this or that reason is why Jordan Love will fail and be a flash in the pan.
Everything looks solid.
It all sounds like a great base, but it was still a very, very good half-season and he has to prove that again to me.
Uh Now could you tell me a story where Jordan’s love wins.
This year’s MVP.
OK. II, I can’t say that, that’s crazy based on how he played and the weapons around him and how good the Packers could be this season, but I just need to see it again.
I like him.
I think he’s going to be really good, but I also have that in mind, uh, I just don’t like jumping to conclusions from small samples and I like going back and looking at the Raiders game, that’s not a guy.
Look, we’re getting all these lists, right?
Like the best defenders in the rankings.
I think Jordan loves really, really well on some of these lists.
I thought, go back and the Raiders game wasn’t that long ago.
Go back and look at this.
Does this look like a top three quarterback to you?
No, now he played like the lights went out, obviously after that, but there’s just a little bit of uh, I think we both shared that a little bit, let’s see it again before and the Packers are also in a difficult situation because they need figure out whether I should pay this guy or not based on that half season.
I think they’re in love with him and they shouldn’t make puns, but I, I just, we’ll see.
Let’s look again before we anoint Tim one of the top five quarterbacks in the NFL.
If you take away all your emotions and take away all yours, that’s what I want to happen.
We have a quarterback who last year had some great games and last year had some terrible games and we had a quarterback who sometimes played very well against great teams but also played very poorly against bad teams.
There is so much evidence on both sides.
I think incomplete is the only fair grade at the moment for figuring out who Jordan loves, as it’s not a popular opinion.
Everyone wants him to be one of the best.
I just what if he’s, you know, in the middle of the group.
