Bruins 2024 preseason schedule: Dates, times and opponents revealed originally appeared in NBC Sports Boston
The Boston Bruins will prepare for the 2024-25 NHL season by playing some of their longtime rivals in the preseason.
The team announced a seven-game preseason schedule for 2024 Monday. It includes two games each (one home and one away) against the New York Rangers, Philadelphia Flyers and Washington Capitals.
The other confrontation will be will take place in Quebec City against the Los Angeles Kings at the Videotron Center.
These preseason games are important for young players who want to make an NHL roster before opening night in October. Rookies Matthew Poitras and Mason Lohrei played well in last year’s preseason, and that helped them earn roster spots and playing time early in the regular season.
