Flyers trade second first-round pick in 2024 NHL Draft to Oilers originally appeared in NBC Sports Philadelphia

The Flyers did not make their second first-round pick Friday night in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft.

General manager Danny Briere moved the 32nd overall selection to the Oilers in exchange for a conditional first-round pick, which will occur in 2025 or 2026.

In the early evening, after negotiating a position, the Flyers took center Jett Luchanko 13th overall.
