Wednesday marks exactly one month in which the Florida Panthers have been Stanley Cup champions.
It was on Monday night, June 24th, that the Panthers defeated the Edmonton Oilers in Game 7 at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise.
Considering the dramatic way the series unfolded, with Florida winning the first three games and then Edmonton winning the next three, there couldn’t have been much more drama and intrigue that night.
In the days and weeks that followed, we spent a lot of time here at THN Florida discussing and dissecting many of the celebrations that followed the emotional victory.
One of the things we didn’t do was publish the order in which the Panthers players hoisted Lord Stanley’s Cup during the postgame celebrations.
Of course, things started with Florida captain Sasha Barkov receiving the Cup from NHL commissioner Gary Bettman.
There, he traveled to 27 different Panthers until ending up in the hands of his coach, Paul Maurice.
