The Chicago Blackhawks have re-signed defensemen Isaak Phillips and Louis Crevier to one-year, two-way deals, the team announced Monday.

Although they differ in games played, both players split their time between Chicago and Rockford IceHogs in 2023-24.
A product of Barrie, Ontario, Phillips played in 33 regular season games for Chicago, collecting six assists. With Rockford, Phillips scored four goals and added 10 assists for 14 points in 29 regular season games.
Selected by the Blackhawks in the fifth round of the 2020 NHL Draft, Phillips has played four seasons since turning pro, recording 71 points in 171 career AHL regular-season games.
Crevier, a product of Quebec, Quebec, played in 24 games for the Blackhawks during the regular season, providing three assists. In 41 regular season games with Rockford, he had 11 points.
Standing at an imposing 6-foot-9, Crevier was drafted by Chicago in the seventh round of the 2020 NHL Draft. Having made his NHL debut in 2023-24, Crevier just finished his second professional season since ending his junior career.
With both signings, Chicago solidifies its blue line depth for 2024-25. While last year was a year full of growing pains, both Phillips and Crevier gained valuable experience that should only continue to help them grow as players.
