Former fan favorite John Scott teased a possible return to the San Jose Sharks on his Dropping The Gloves podcast.
Scott co-hosts a podcast, which he ended by saying, “Do you know where else you can see us? San Jose fans, stay tuned for this.”
Scott then paused and turned back.
“Shouldn’t I mention it? It might not be public. I shouldn’t say it yet. I’ll save it, but keep an eye on San Jose for me,” Scott said.
Scott played 38 games for the Sharks in 2014-15. He scored three goals and made one assist, which were the best of his career. As hockey fans know, Scott is not known for his offense; he is known as a fighter.
The tough guy has found a second career in hockey with his podcast. With the Sharks in need of a replacement for Bret Hedican, Scott could be their target.

Scott was a fan favorite across the league. In 2016, fans voted the gritty winger to the All-Star Game despite his lack of all-star play. He scored two goals during the 3-on-3 tournament and was named MVP.
Scott said, “It may not be public,” which leads THN to believe that any appearance or return he is teasing has already been made official between the Sharks and Scott.
