Kevin De Bruyne shows off shocking new look as Man City fans say ‘Erling Haaland’s influence is wild’

KEVIN DE BRUYNE left fans stunned when he showed off his new hairstyle on his return to Manchester City.

The 33-year-old returned to training with his club for the first time this summer, having enjoyed an extended holiday whilst competing in the Euros with Belgium.

De Bruyne made the most of his free time, partying with Virgil van Dijk and soaking up the sun with his wife Michele Lacroix in Ibiza.

But he also went to the barber and got an edgy new cut.

The six-time Premier League winner now has his hair slicked back and tied into a tiny bun.

And fans are convinced his team-mate inspired the new look, with one saying: “Erling Haaland’s influence is wild.”

Another added: “He looks like Haaland.”

A third reacted: “Haaland as a midfielder.”

Others compared him to the Chelsea and England star, commenting: “Kevin De Gallagher.”

This is the second change to De Bruyne’s hairstyle after returning from injury last season with a huge pompadour.

Man City begin their title defense with a trip to Chelsea on August 18th.

And De Bruyne appears determined to remain at the club despite interest from Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad.

He previously hinted that he would be open to a move to the Middle East, saying: “At my age you have to be open to everything.

“You’re talking incredible amounts of money at what could be the end of my career. Sometimes you have to think about it.

“If I play there for two years, I could make an incredible amount of money.

“I still have a year left on my contract, so I have to think about what could happen.

“My eldest son is now eight and doesn’t know anything other than England. He also asks how long I’m going to play for City.”
