One day before the transfer window closes for Canadian Football League teams, CF Montréal is pushing for a late deal.

According to Tom Bogert of GIVEMESPORT, the Quebec club have agreed to a deal to acquire Minnesota United midfielder Caden Clark.

The 21-year-old American has made 23 appearances for his current club and has a further 50 appearances under his belt during his time at the New York Red Bulls.

According to the report, Montreal believes the player “still has great potential that he can reach” as he aims to move up from 11th place in the Eastern Conference.

Minnesota, meanwhile, is ninth in the West.
