SPURS ace Yves Bissouma filmed himself inhaling laughing gas just days before the start of the new season.

The £55,000-a-week Tottenham star laughed maniacally in between being hit by a balloon in footage that will dismay the footballer’s boss and millions of fans.

The midfielder went out to party after his side’s final pre-season friendly against Bayern Munich in north London on Saturday night.

And during a loud, booze-filled night, the star, 27, was seen taking nitrous oxide in a chauffeur-driven limousine that transported him and his friends.

In a “stupid” move that confused sources close to him, the player voluntarily shared the video of himself committing the crime with friends on Snapchat.

Possessing laughing gas with the intent to get high was made illegal last year, and repeat offenders face up to two years in prison and an unlimited fine.

One witness said: “It beggars belief that any Premier League star would openly embrace hippie crack. It is a crime and Yves will now likely face a police investigation, let alone severe sanctions at the club.

“The new season starts next weekend and he has disappointed every Spurs fan.

“Chief Ange Postecoglou will blush. Sharing the footage alone is completely stupid.”

Nitrous oxide use can cause neurological disorders, depression, memory loss, incontinence, hallucinations, and nerve damage.

Bissouma, who joined Spurs from Brighton in 2022, is the latest in a long line of Prem stars believed to have been caught using hippie crack.

In May, it was revealed that an unidentified player was treated by paramedics months after it was discovered he was addicted to laughing gas.

He was reportedly found by friends amidst gas cylinders in his apartment in the city center.

It is believed he fell off the wagon after attending rehab following several attempts to kick his addiction.

Last night, Yves Bissouma apologized for his “serious lack of judgement” in an emotional statement sent to The Sun.

The chastened star said: “I want to apologize for these videos. This was a serious lack of judgment.

“I understand the seriousness of this and the health risks involved, and I also take my responsibilities as a football player and role model very seriously.”

A Tottenham Hotspur spokesperson told The Sun: “We are aware of the videos in question.

“We are analyzing the events. This will be handled as an internal matter.”
