ALVARO MORATA has announced he has split from his wife Alice Campello in a shocking statement.
The former Chelsea and Real Madrid striker has been with his stunning Wag for seven years and they have four children.
Morata, 31, married Alice, 29, in his native Italy in 2017.
Just two weeks ago, the couple posted several loved-up photos of themselves on vacation.
And Alice took to the field with her children after the Euro 2024 final, when the striker captained his country to victory, sealing the victory with a kiss.
In a bombshell statement on Instagram, Morata said: “After a period of reflection, Alice and I have made the decision to go our separate ways.
“It was a wonderful relationship, with mutual respect, in which we loved each other and helped each other a lot.
“We’ve had a wonderful few years and we have our four children to show for it, which is without a doubt the best thing we’ve ever done.
“It is a painful decision, after which we ask for respect and empathy.
“Please do not invent rumors, because I repeat: there were no breaches of trust, just many continuous misunderstandings that, little by little, eroded things.

“Alice will always have a special place in my heart and the time we spent together was incredible and a great learning experience.”
Meanwhile, Alice said on her social media page: “Álvaro and I have decided to separate and it is the hardest decision we have ever made in our lives.
“I want to make it clear, as he did, that there was no third party or any kind of disrespect from any of us.
“I can only say that in these eight years I have had a person by my side who has done nothing but prioritize me, take care of me and respect me and that is why I cannot allow any type of false speculation.
“I don’t want you to think that everything you saw in the Instagram photos we posted was a lie.
“We could not have loved each other more and we continue to do so, but there comes a time when many misunderstandings accumulate, are mismanaged and things gradually deteriorate and explode.
“We always promised each other to respect everything we experienced, to never get to the point where we get hurt or toxic, and to end things before that happens, and that’s what we did.
“I just want to thank Álvaro for everything he did for me, for the way he took care of me, for being the father and husband that he was, and to always wish him the best.”
Morata recently signed for AC Milan from Atlético Madrid.
