Topi Kiskinen has already experienced the “incredible atmosphere” at Pittodrie, but Aberdeen’s newest recruit is eager for more.

The Finland under-21 international played against the Dons in the Conference League last season for HJK Helsinki and was impressed by the “real football stadium” vibes he gave off.

Now he will call Pittodrie home, and the young winger will be hoping to create plenty of happy memories – and goals – in his new stomping ground.

“I remember when we had a journey minus one [here last season]I said to my teammates at the time, ‘this is a real football stadium’,” Keskinen said on signing a four-year contract with the Dons.

“The atmosphere was incredible. I remember it was really cool and it was a great stadium to play in.

“My first impressions of Aberdeen and the training ground are very good. Everything is very professional, everything is done correctly.”

Many Aberdeen fans will no doubt remember the direct and skilful winger from last season’s European games, but in case anyone had any doubts, Keskinen reminded everyone what he does.

“I would say I am a very aggressive player, an attacking winger who likes one-on-one situations and also running behind the lines,” he told club media. “I’m a player who always gives my all.

“Scoring goals is the best part of playing football and I hope I can contribute some goals for Aberdeen, but I always like to create opportunities for my teammates, that’s what I do.

“I’m looking forward to meeting all the fans at the stadium. I hope we have some good times together and that I score some goals so we can celebrate together. That’s what I want.”
