PRESENTER Mark Pougatch leads ITV’s main coverage of both football and rugby and is set to be involved in the Euro 2024 team of TV stars and experts.
The 53-year-old replaced Adrian Chiles as ITV’s main football presenter six years ago to cover Champions League and English matches.
He presented ITV’s coverage of Euro 2016 and has also presented Six Nations rugby since 2016, as well as the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan.
Before that, however, he passed TWENTY TWO YEARSwhere he began performing for BBC Radio 5 Live.
He also joined BT Sport in the summer of 2016 to present the BT Sport Score program, to rival Sky Sports’ Gillette Soccer on Saturday.
Additionally, Pougatch presented ITV’s live coverage of Euro 2020 with fellow presenters Seema Jaswal and Reshmin Chowdhury.
They were nominated by the likes of Ian Wright, Gary Neville, Eni Aluko, Ashley Cole and Patrick Vieira.
In addition to ITV’s live coverage, Pougatch presented 12 special Euro 2020 episodes of the ITV Football Show podcast alongside Luton Town winger Andros Townsend.
Euro 2024 begins on June 14, with hosts Germany taking on Scotland.
England’s campaign begins on June 16th when they face Serbia.
The Three Lions were drawn from a group that also includes Slovenia and Denmark.
England will be looking to win their first trophy since the 1966 World Cup.
Gareth Southgate’s men are among the main favorites to win the competition.
