The fastest goal in FC Cincinnati history (1′)

We typically use the first blog post after kickoff to set the scene for the game, mention weather conditions, and so on. But before we could get to that, Luciano Acosta threw the ball into the Orlando net. Orlando didn’t look fully engaged in this opening sequence and FCC took full advantage, driving into the Lions’ box, where Acosta scored 17 seconds after the opening whistle.

This marked the fastest goal in FC Cincinnati history. However, it’s not the quickest goal in MLS history, nor is it the quickest goal this season.
