Despite the result, traveling fans remained inside the stadium to sing and clap full time, while the players cheered in support.

However, as the team left the field, Sky Sports cameras filmed Antony, Mason Mount and Andre Onana leaving the field.

Antonio looked excited as he spoke to Mount, covering his mouth and gesturing with his fingers.

Carragher was furious as he shouted at the screen for the trio to get off the pitch.

The former Liverpool defender exclaimed: “Get off the pitch! I mean talking, whispering behind the hand.

“It was absolutely horrible. You’re probably talking about one of the players or someone else, or the setup or the coach.

“Just get off the field. Shut up and go in. You’re beaten 4-0. Whispering and talking about other players, honestly, it’s embarrassing.”

Antony endured another frustrating night for United on the right.

Premier League’s ‘most hated player’ joins condemnation of Man Utd ace Antony by saying ‘even I wouldn’t do that’

He has scored just once in the Premier League this season, ending his drought at home to Burnley last weekend.

Meanwhile, his antics have seen him criticized by fans and pundits alike in recent weeks.

Antony was criticized after touching the ears of Coventry players following United’s FA Cup semi-final victory last month.
