CHELSEA would have reached a verbal agreement with Estevão Willian.
The 17-year-old winger has been heavily linked with the Blues in recent months.
Reports in his home country of Brazil last week even claimed that Chelsea were preparing an initial transfer bid for the teenager.
Although an official offer has been presented, the club is interested in signing Estêvão.
According to Fabricio RomanoChelsea have reached a verbal agreement on personal terms with the player.
Negotiations are now planned with Palmeiras and an offer of £27.5m is expected, the report adds.
However, no proposal has yet been presented and nothing has been finalized, but the Blues remain the clear favorites to sign Estêvão.
Chelsea have been looking for a deal since January, according to Romano.
The young man, nicknamed “Messinho”, made his debut for Palmeiras in December, still aged 16.
Since then, he has scored three goals and provided one assist in 14 games for the club’s first team.
