ROY KEANE slammed Casemiro after Manchester United’s 4-0 defeat to Crystal Palace.
The Red Devils produced a shocking performance on Monday night, but Keane singled out the Brazilian for criticism in the Stick to footballsponsored by Sky Bet.
Casemiro was defeated by Michael Olise’s first shot, which left him on the ground after a failed attempt to intercept the winger.
The midfielder who played as a defender at Selhurst Park was dribbled past on eight occasions throughout the match.
This marks the most times a player has been beaten in a single Premier League game this season.
And Keane was quick to dismiss the United star as he said: “Of all the Manchester United players, including the reserves and the youth team.
“If there was one player I wouldn’t play with in midfield against Crystal Palace, it would be the one I wouldn’t play with. Aaron Wan-Bissaka or someone else!
“Crystal Palace were really into it [against Manchester United] and everyone would look at that and think Palace away on Monday night would be a difficult night and Casemiro was isolated.
“He was isolated through his own fault, because he couldn’t have people around him, and you have to take responsibility for that.
“But if we are talking about a team game, structure this and structure that, playing between the lines.

“That’s all well and good, but when you’re going through that, you need your teammates around. There’s the whole idea of playing as a team.”
It comes after Jamie Carragher said it was time for the Brazil captain to “call it a day” on his glittering career on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football.
The Liverpool legend suggested that the Brazilian move to MLS or the Saudi league as, in his opinion, he is no longer a top-class midfielder.
Casemiro was one of Erik ten Hag’s first signings and joined from Real Madrid for £70m in 2022.
He is one of United’s highest earners and is believed to earn around £350,000 a week.
The midfielder brings a wealth of experience to United, having won five Champions League titles with Real Madrid and three Spanish league titles.
Getting rid of him could be complicated, given that he is on huge wages and still has two years left on his contract, with United still having the option to extend his contract for a further year.
