MANCHESTER UNITED legend Dwight Yorke says he would NOT want to play for the club right now.
The 1999 Treble winner claims Old Trafford is a “bad place” to be under Erik ten Hag.
Yorke said: “I wouldn’t want to play. It’s if you want to face that kind of aggression coming.
“Just knowing that there is a lack of creativity, a lack of passion, the negative discourse about the team.
“It’s a really bad place to be if you’re a United player and not just a striker.”
Ten Hag’s side have already lost a club-record 13 Premier League games this season.
They are eighth in the table and new co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe is promising a major overhaul in the summer – with Dutch manager Ten Hag’s job under threat.
It’s a stark departure from the time when Yorke was top scorer in a team that shook the football world under Sir Alex Ferguson, winning the Prem, FA Cup and Champions League in one season.
These days, that doesn’t even phase Salford.
Back then, Yorke insists United would snap their fingers and players would come running to sign.

He said: “If you are a player and you have the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City behind you, then United are in the second division.
“People are questioning whether they want to join United.
“It was never like this.
“Did United come after you? You don’t think about it. Now players are thinking, ‘I’m not so sure.’ That’s not a good sign.”
Yorke was speaking at the launch of a new Amazon Prime series titled ’99’ about the Treble-winning season.
For Yorke, watching makes it all the more painful to witness the current crisis at Old Trafford.
“They are like two different clubs.
Yorke, 52, added: “It’s so far away it’s not even close.”
l ’99’ is available exclusively on Amazon Prime Video from May 17th.
Experts’ verdict on Ten Hag’s future

What are the experts’ stance on Erik ten Hag’s future at Manchester United?
Michael Owen – He has to go
“He cannot, he simply cannot, lead this team next season. He is not good enough.”
Teddy Sheringham – He can stay if he wins the World Cup, but he should go
“If United win the FA Cup, he could stay. But for me, changes are needed and United need to make them as soon as possible.”
Jamie Carragher – fired
“I don’t see how Erik ten Hag will stay. It’s just performance after performance.”
Gary Neville – Stay if you win the FA Cup
“Firing a manager who won two trophies in his first two seasons at the club would be extreme.”
Louis Saha – On the fence
“I don’t see it so clearly, but they need changes from the players, but they also need changes from him.”
Alan Shearer – fired
“I believe the future of the Man Utd manager has already been determined. Even if they win the FA Cup, I think he is gone.”
