Juventus and Italy legend now has his own eyewear brand after being inspired by David Beckham’s style

JUVENTUS legend Alessandro Del Piero has a successful eyewear brand that he launched after being inspired by David Beckham.

The legendary striker launched his Air Dp fashion line a few years ago, specializing in glasses.

Del Piero opened stores across Italy and hoped to expand his empire to the UK.

Air Dp offers glasses and sunglasses for men and women with prices ranging from £128 to £275.

Del Piero showed off some of the collection in a recent appearance on CBS Sports, gifting them to his colleagues Thierry Henry, Micah Richards and Kate Abdo, who loved their gifts.

The former Italian star admitted on his show that he has glasses that match every outfit he wears and that there is no shortage of options for customers to choose from on the website.

The stores also sell sneakers and raincoats, with Del Piero revealing he was inspired by Beckham and admitting to having a sense of British style.

He said: “England is elegant and civilized.

“What I lost in football, I was able to live through my brand. I would like to expand the style and my product – and bring it to England.

“I feel like I’ve always felt like I have a sense of British style. I like that and freely admit it.

Fans were impressed with the glasses when Del Piero showed them off on CBS Sports with one saying: “I’m really impressed. Del Piero
