Chris Sutton is making predictions for every Premier League game this season against various guests.

For this weekend’s matches, he faces Kasabian frontman Serge Pizzorno.

Sutton prediction: 1-5

Manchester United fans need to stop living in the past and pretending we are still in the era of Sir Alex Ferguson.

My favorite team of the Premier League era was Ferguson’s treble-winning team of 1999, so for anyone who thinks I don’t like United, I don’t. They were also the best team the Premier League has ever seen, but while they were brilliant then, they aren’t anymore.

Their manager Erik ten Hag is off at the end of the season, I’m convinced of that, and Arsenal should finish them off at Old Trafford.

The only question is whether the Gunners will show up, but even if they are below their best, it could end up being a cricket score.

I have to say that although I was critical of Bruno Fernandes regarding Manchester United’s captaincy, they really missed him against Crystal Palace.

United really need Fernandes back for this game, but even if he is in good form, the only way to win is to defend in numbers and take every chance you get on the counterattack.

They will also need Arsenal to not be doing well, but with what is at stake I think the opposite will apply. I hope the Gunners win easily.

Serge’s prediction: 2-3

There will be plenty of goals but Arsenal will win this one and press City of Manchester until the end.
