SERGIO RAMOS is in “advanced negotiations” for a move to MLS this summer, according to reports.
The 38-year-old Real Madrid legend returned to his boyhood club Sevilla last summer after two years at Paris Saint-Germain.
He has played 34 times this season – scoring seven goals – but the team has struggled and sits 12th in the LaLiga table.
Ramos only signed a contract until the end of the season and his contract is not expected to be renewed.
Now, according to Atléticohe is in talks to join San Diego FC.
The report states that no agreement has been agreed or finalized, but that negotiations are at an “advanced” stage.
Ramos is one of the most decorated defenders in football history.
He won five LaLiga titles, two Copa del Rey and four Champions Leagues at Real Madrid.
He also won two Ligue 1 titles with Paris Saint-Germain.
And at international level he won consecutive European Championships, as well as the World Championship in 2010.

But his return to Sevilla after 18 years away was not the fairytale that many would imagine.
In January, following a 2-0 defeat to Athletic Bilbao, he was involved in an altercation with a disgruntled fan during a post-match interview.
A month earlier, he infuriated Atletico Madrid fans by stepping over his badge as he left for warm-ups at the Wanda Metropolitano.
He was booed throughout the match as Atlético claimed a 1-0 victory over Sevilla.
