A win will see the triple winners return to the top of the table with a two-point lead going into the final day.

Meanwhile, a draw would see City and the Gunners go into Sunday’s games level on points, with Arsenal having a superior goal difference.

While Spurs have the chance to take the battle against Aston Villa for the final Champions League spot to the final day with a win.

The reverse fixture in December ended in a 3-3 draw at the Etihad Stadium after Dejan Kulusevski’s last-minute equalizer.

However, City have already won at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this season.

Nathan Ake’s goal was the difference in the FA Cup fourth round in January.

What is their shape like?

Spurs broke a four-game losing streak by beating Burnley 2-1 on Saturday.

Before their narrow victory, Ange Postecoglou’s team had conceded 13 goals in a run of four consecutive defeats.

However, they have failed to win just one of their last five home league matches since March 2.

Tottenham have also won each of their last four home games against City without conceding a goal.

City have lost to Spurs in the Premier League under Guardiola more than any other team.

The defending champions are on a 21-game unbeaten run in the league after beating Fulham at the weekend.

That 4-0 win continued an impressive away win that saw City win four in a row by an aggregate score of 10-0.

What’s new with the team and any injuries to worry about?

Postecoglou faces no new injury concerns ahead of the match.

Spurs are still without seven players who have been ruled out for the season, including Destiny Udogie, Richarlison and Timo Werner.

For City, Ake is being assessed after being forced off with a foot injury at Craven Cottage.

Jack Grealish could return from illness after missing Saturday’s victory.

Who will be the star men?

With Richarlison’s absence, Spurs depend even more on captain Son Heung-min to score goals.

The striker has scored 17 goals in all competitions this season, including five in 13 appearances since returning from the Asian Cup.

His record against City is also impressive, with eight goals and four assists in 18 games against Tuesday’s opponents.

As for the visitors, Phil Foden is having the best season of his career.

The FWA Footballer of the Year scored his 17th goal of the season against Fulham.

Foden also scored against Spurs at the Etihad Stadium earlier this season.

What did the managers say?

Speaking after the win over Burnley, Postecoglou explained: “It’s always difficult when you lose four games in a row and it’s natural for there to be a bit of anxiety and a bit of stress there.

“For the most part, I thought we handled the game well and finished the game strong.”

When facing Tottenham, Guardiola told the media on Monday: “This is a team we have played twice this season. If we don’t win, we won’t win the Premier League, so that’s what we have to do.

“It’s always so demanding to play there [at Tottenham], especially this season. They are so aggressive. At Anfield they are losing 4-0, but they remain true to what they believe in.

“There are difficulties, but we know what we are playing for.”
