In an inventive way to announce the 26-player squad that Julian Nagelsmann will have at his disposal, Germany has revealed the squad with a series of revelations.
This trend started with Nico Schlotterbeck on the German Federation’s Instagram account, before the RFL TV channel announced Bayern Munich’s Aleksandar Pavlovic.
Manuel Neuer was announced via influencer Chiara, while Stuttgart winger Chris Furich was confirmed via a video featuring his image on the side of a bakery bag in the Black Forest.
In the case of former Chelsea and current Real Madrid star Rudiger, he was called out with a video of his favorite kebab restaurant, Hisar Fresh Food.
The fast food restaurant has just under 2,000 followers on its own Instagram page at the time of writing.
Rudiger wrote below the post: “Hisar Döner = Bester Döner

Fans also seemed to be enjoying the new reveal strategy.
