MANCHESTER UNITED returned to winning ways by beating Newcastle 3-2 at Old Trafford.
Bruno Fernandes impressed when he returned to the starting line-up after being absent due to injury.
Youngsters Kobbie Mainoo, Amad Diallo and Rasmus Hojlund were all on the scoresheet for the Red Devils.
However, Aaron Wan-Bissaka struggled and was caught napping for Newcastle’s first goal.
Here are SunSport’s full United player ratings.
André Onana – 6
Poor clearance led to a goal for the second successive home game, but he made up for it with smart saves from Longstaff and Joelinton to keep his team in front. Well beaten by Hall in Toon’s second.
Diogo Dalot – 6
The Portuguese has had a good season. The equalizer came on his flank, but he was solid defensively and combined well with Garnacho in attack.
Casemiro – 7
Much better from the Brazilian, who made a great tackle on Gordon and diverted Burn’s line. He could have ended his night shot a little higher.
Johnny Evans – 6
He asked to play again so that Martinez could fully recover and once again he did not disappoint his coach. If it is his farewell at Old Trafford, it will be a good way to say goodbye.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 5
Could have closed in on Gordon for the equalizer and it looked like he was caught napping. It could end up being the former Palace’s last home game if it receives a suitable offer.

Kobbie Mainoo – 7
A fine finish that gave the home team the lead – his third Prem goal of a season he won’t forget. He looks more confident when he has Fernandes by his side and has another good innings.
Sofyan Amrabat – 7
A mixed night – lucky not to concede a penalty on Gordon and a fresh air shot for Toon’s equalizer – but an incredible last minute tackle on Isak saved a certain goal.
Amad Diallo – 8
What a magnificent goal to cap off an attractive night for the Ivorian. He also had a hand in the opening goal and looked lively all night. Why didn’t he play more this season?
Scott McTominay – 6
I worked hard to keep United in front, but I could have scored. He headed straight towards Dubravka and was unable to connect with Fernandes’ cross.
Alejandro Garnacho – 7
Denied an early goal by Dubravka. The heavy touch allowed Krafth to deny him another lively display from the Argentine who just needs to improve his final product.
Bruno Fernandes – 9
He returned from injury and showed what United have been missing in recent games. At the center of everything and participated in the three goals, although he could have scored one himself.
SUBS
Hojlund (for Diallo 82) – 7
He got the goal he desperately needed a few minutes after coming on.
Rashford (for Garnacho 82) – 5
It doesn’t have much of an impact, but it takes minutes.
Martinez (for Mainoo 82) – 5
What a boost for United to get him back before the cup final.
Eriksen (for Fernandes 89) – 5
Let’s give Bruno a rest and watch the game end.
