The 2023-24 Premier League season was a thriller with a familiar ending, with Manchester City winning a historic fourth consecutive Premier League title.

That had never been done and was not guaranteed this season, thanks to Liverpool and Arsenal’s sublime seasons.

An incredible three-team title race was left to just the Gunners and three-time champions Manchester City.

But Guardiola and co did it, as Phil Foden scored twice on the final day to seal a victory over West Ham that negated the intended impact of Arsenal’s late thrashing of Everton.

Here is a link to the Premier League table for the 2022-23 seasonwith Manchester City winning a third successive Premier League title after Arsenal led for most of the campaign.

Everton and Nottingham Forest avoid relegation after deducting points

After receiving a 10 point deduction per violating Premier League profit and sustainability rules, Everton appealed and reduced it to six. Then they were deducted from plus two points due to another charge for violating PSRs, that they are attractive. Sean Dyche now keeps the Toffees safe from the relegation zone after three wins in seven days in April, while Everton avoid a first relegation from the Premier League.

As for Nottingham Forest, they have received a four-point deduction for also violating PSRs and they appealed that decision. Forest finished outside the relegation zone by six points over Luton Town.

Which American players have been in the Premier League this season?

We’ll be updating the 2023-24 Premier League table in this space throughout the season as American fans see which of their USMNT players can finish top of the table between Matt Turner and Gio Reyna (Nottingham Forest), Auston Trusty (Sheffield United), Tyler Adams (yet to feature in the PL for Bournemouth due to ongoing hamstring problems) and Fulham’s Tim Ream and Antonee Robinson. Burnley’s Luca Koleosho is USMNT eligible and represented the USA at U15 level, but has since represented Italy at two youth levels and after a bright start to his first Premier League campaign, the teenager suffered a serious knee injury.
