MANCHESTER UNITED were forced to make a late change to their squad for the FA Cup final.
Casemiro is no longer part of the matchday squad after being named on the bench by Erik ten Hag.
The midfielder was forced off due to a “late injury issue” less than an hour before kick-off.
Instead, young defender Willy Kambwala replaced the Brazilian among the substitutes.
Casemiro had already been removed from the starting lineup by Ten Hag.
After filling in at centre-back due to injuries elsewhere, he gave way to the return of Raphael Varane.
The Frenchman had been injured since April due to a muscle injury.
In that time, Varane, who will leave the club this summer, has missed 11 matches for the Red Devils.
Casemiro made 32 appearances during his second season at Old Trafford, scoring five goals.
However, the 32-year-old has come under fire for his performances and struggled while playing as a defender.
