Arteta escaped to the Porto Cevo region of Sardinia, Italy.
He is there with his wife, Lorena, a former Miss World contestant, who went on a yacht trip with Arteta and two of their two sons – Daniel, 11, and Oliver, nine.
Arteta, 42, looked relaxed in a stylish pair of sunglasses as he sat next to Lorena, before the pair decided to work on their tans.
The Spaniard helped his wife by applying sunscreen to her back after the model took off her clothes and was in a bikini.
The mother-of-three rolled back her glamorous years in a black bikini.
Lorena, 43, was crowned Miss Spain in 1999 and has also worked as a TV presenter and actress, appearing in several Spanish films and TV shows, as well as Chuck and CSI: Miami.
And she recently stole the show at the Globe Soccer Awards when Arteta won the “Best Premier League Coach” award.
The event was held in Sardinia and Lorena smiled in a blue dress as her husband accepted the award.

The two met in 2002 and later dated for about six years before getting married in 2010.
Lorena has almost 60,000 followers on Instagram and is often seen supporting Arteta, including at the premiere of All or Nothing: Arsenal.
