However, it is understood that Frank is prioritizing an upgrade to his defense in the early stages of the transfer window.
Bellingham began his senior career with Birmingham in 2021 and made 26 first-team appearances before joining Sunderland last summer.
The youngster was also capped five times by the England Under-19s.
