PAUL GASCOIGNE has revealed that Sir Alex Ferguson didn’t speak to him for SIX YEARS after he rejected a move to Manchester United.
The English legend, 57, became a household name with his performances for Newcastle between 1985 and 1988.
He then had the opportunity to sign for Man Utd, but chose to join Tottenham.
This led to a long period where Fergie refused to speak to the midfielder.

Gazza was then linked to Man Utd for a second time when he left Lazio in 1995.
He claims Fergie said she would sign him if Eric Cantona left, but the Frenchman ended up staying and Gazza went to Rangers.
Gascoigne also revealed a more recent disagreement with Ferguson when he attended a game at Old Trafford.
And he admits it even resulted in a scolding from the iconic Scottish manager.
He explained: “A few years ago I went to watch the Man Utd game – I think it was Chelsea – and he [Fergie] was in the hall. A guy came up and said ‘Sir Alex Ferguson wants to see you in the office’. I just started to panic.

“So he still gave us shit, but he gave us one of his watches, so that was good.”
Ferguson was recently seen leaving a club in Mayfair with Dougie Freedman.
