Chelsea are said to be confident of challenging Arsenal and Manchester United for the signature of Benjamin Sesko this summer, according to a report.

The London Evening Standard says Chelsea want to sign 21-year-old Sesko as the Slovenian striker has a $71 million release clause in his contract with RB Leipzig.

According to the report, Arsenal are looking to pay slightly less than the release clause, but Chelsea are willing to pay everything upfront to speak to Sesko directly. Our partners in Heaven in Germany They also say that Manchester United want to sign Sesko and have been in touch and claim that his release clause expires on June 30th.

That deadline left clubs across Europe scrambling for a talented and clinical striker.

Where is the best option for Sesko: Man United, Chelsea or Arsenal?

Well, Arsenal are obviously in the Champions League and heading in a great direction under Mikel Arteta, which gives them the edge over Man United and Chelsea. Sesko also knows he would give Arsenal’s attack another clinical finisher who is flexible about where to play.

The lack of a clinical finisher didn’t really stop Arsenal from chasing the Premier League title last season, as the likes of Bukayo Saka, Leandro Trossard and especially Kai Havertz scored goals and even Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice put up very decent numbers. from midfield. But with Gabriel Jesus struggling with form and injuries and Eddie Nketiah not progressing, the main area Arsenal need to strengthen is another attacking option. The Gunners have to give their all for Sesko and he would be a very good choice for both parties.

As for Chelsea, well, they obviously love a scattershot approach to signings, and although they have Christopher Nkunku (who will hopefully stay fit for next season) and Nicolas Jackson in attack, who knows how they will fare under new manager Enzo Maresca this next season. Sesko should probably stay away from Chelsea until things become clearer regarding the club’s direction, but you can guarantee they will match, or better, what Arsenal and Man United are offering the young striker.

And then there is Manchester United. Well, whoever the manager is next season, you could see Sesko thriving at Old Trafford. He’s quick on the counterattack, loves to run in behind and with Alejandro Garnacho on a wing, Rasmus Hojlund holding the ball up front and Bruno Fernandes passing balls to him, Sesko could have a great system around him at United.

Arsenal should be your preferred destination, then Man United and then Chelsea.
