JAMES MADDISON has become the first player to be dropped from Gareth Southgate’s provisional England squad for Euro 2024.
The 27-year-old Tottenham star has discovered his destiny and has now left the Three Lions camp.
Maddison joined the Three Lions after returning from Spurs’ post-season trip to Australia.
He appeared on the bench in Monday’s 3-0 friendly win over Bosnia.
But according to Atléticothe midfielder was unable to make the cut.
Maddison won seven caps for England.
He made his international debut against Ukraine in last year’s qualifiers.
The former Leicester ace was included in Southgate’s 2022 World Cup squad but did not feature in Qatar.
