ENGLAND will be looking to prove they can maintain their lead tonight – and that’s BEFORE their game against Iceland kicks off.
A hat-trick of Three Lions stars took part in a Crufts-style dog agility competition, to be broadcast ahead of Channel 4’s coverage.
Anthony Gordon, Conor Gallagher and Declan Rice put three dogs through their paces during some downtime before the final warm-up before the Euros in Germany.
In an event more paw-paw-two than 4-4-2, Gordon was paired with a mutt called Jack Growlish, Gallagher was with Harry Canine and Rice was partnered with Collie Watkins.
However, two of the players’ attempts ended up looking like a dog’s dinner.
All three have their own hunting dogs, with Newcastle star Gordon, 23, revealing: “My dogs don’t listen to me.
“But they are good, they have good energy.”
Chelsea ace Gallagher, 23, said of his pup: “He can jump on his two back legs, which is always really cute, but he’s not the smartest.”
It was the latest in a series of entertaining films, with English stars also featuring in Bake Off and Countdown.
But injuries in defense have been less fun for manager Gareth Southgate.

Defender Harry Maguire was left out of the 26-man squad due to a calf problem.
Manchester United team-mate Luke Shaw has been ruled out – but is not yet fully fit.
And Brighton’s Lewis Dunk will miss the clash with Iceland as he recovers from a leg injury.
All of this means that Liverpool star Jarell Quansah has been put on hold.
The 21-year-old player was excluded from the 26 finalists, but is in the squad for Friday’s final preparation game.
