ATLETICO MADRID are after Manchester City star Julian Alvarez.
And French giants Paris Saint-Germain could also sign the 24-year-old Argentine striker.
Alvarez joined for just a bargain £14m in 2022.
City are in no rush to sell the former River Plate hero.
He scored 36 goals in two full seasons at the Etihad, but was used in a variety of positions by Pep Guardiola.
He is believed to be interested in playing more regularly in his preferred central striker position.
Argentine reports suggest an acceptable offer would be around £70m, a figure that appears unlikely to be reached this summer.
Atlético could ask for a loan – but that will NOT please the champions.
Alvarez has already won a lot during his two years at the Etihad. During his first season, he helped Man City win the Treble.

Since then, he has added the Super Cup and Club World Cup before lifting the Premier League title again last month.
And in the midst of all this, Alvarez was part of the Argentina team that won the World Cup in December 2022, adding to the Copa América they had won the previous year.
He revealed earlier this year that the gongs he has won are split between Manchester and South America – but one day he will bring them all together.
Alvarez explained: “Some are in Argentina and some are here with me in the UK.
“The one for the World Cup is in Argentina – in a special cabinet.”
Alvarez had no problems adapting to life in England and even brought his childhood nickname to the Premier League.
He was nicknamed La Arana – the Spider – as a young player because he seemed to have many legs, such was the speed with which he moved.
And it made him smile when it was used when his name was announced after a goal when he was a substitute at the Etihad.
The ‘Spider’s’ goal celebration has also been seen regularly by City fans in recent seasons.
Regarding its origins, he said: “It came from nowhere.
“We were playing with my brothers and friends. One day they called me Arana — Spider — and now it sticks.
“City asked if I wanted to hear it. I said I preferred it to be in Spanish since Arana is my nickname instead of Spider. I love that I’m still called that.
