ARSENAL have lowered Kieran Tierney’s rating.
And the left-back has given a definitive verdict on his likelihood of staying at the Emirates after his loan at Real Sociedad.
The 27-year-old Scottish star was linked with Newcastle and Aston Villa last year.
Last August, the Gunners wanted £30 million for the former Celtic hero.
But the metro Arsenal are now said to be willing to offload Tierney this summer for around £10m.
His chances in the first team have diminished since Oleksandr Zinchenko and then Jurrien Timber arrived at the Emirates in the last two seasons.
And Tierney was hardly a huge success during his 2023-24 loan at Sociedad, making just 14 LaLiga appearances.
Asked if it was possible to stay at Arsenal, he previously told talkSPORT: “You never know in football.
“It’s probably very rare for that to happen when you come back from a loan.
‘”Of course, you have circumstances like Saliba, where they’ve just come back and I don’t think he’s been out of the team since.

“But maybe it’s a little different for someone who’s played four years and come back, but you never know.
“Football is a crazy place, so let’s see what happens.”
Tierney also believes leaving on loan was the right solution for him and the Gunners.
He attributed this to: “The way things have evolved at Arsenal, the way the team was going and what happened last season with playing time etc.”
Tierney added: “It probably worked out better for both parties for me to go out and get some new experience, some game time.”
