THERE WAS a huge mistake at Euro 2024 as the wrong emblem was printed on Ukraine’s shirts.
The Ukrainians face Romania later today, but they may be wearing an inappropriate shirt due to the gaffe.
The team’s blue shirt for the match must have the flags of both countries printed in the center.
Ukraine’s flag was successfully printed, but Romania’s was not so lucky.
The Romanian flag was not printed on the shirt, as the Belgian flag was printed instead.
There is some similarity between the two flags as they both have yellow and red stripes.
Both flags have a third stripe; The one in Romania is blue, but the one in Belgium is black.
The third stripe is too dark to be the Romanian flag and looks much more like the Belgian flag, as fans have pointed out on social media.
One posted: “Someone in the Ukrainian FA printed the Belgian flag on the team’s shirts for today’s game in Munich.
“The only problem is that today Ukraine are playing Romania.”
